Color Guard tryouts to be held Tuesday, May 25, to Thursday, May 27, on school campus at west side of parking lot. Girls in grade 10-12 can compete for 16 positions. Skills needed: dance, coordination, rhythm, flag-twirling ability. Those chosen join marching band in fall. Squad performs choreographed routines at football and basketball halftimes, parades. Last fall, 68 girls came to first session. If necessary, second round will take place the following week. For applications: Ms. Cindy Barker, Color Guard adviser, room 103.
